The
Pääkslahti Camping site is situated in southern
Finland on the shore of lake Hiidenvesi. Distance to Helsinki City
centre is about 65 km. The site is very easy to find, thanks to clearly
visible traffic signs. There are many possible holiday activities for
both adults and children at the site and in its nearby surroundings.
The site is also a convenient home base when visiting Helsinki and
its enormous choice of places to go on a day outing.
We have some pictures from Pääkslahti. The
comments are in Finnish only, sorry.
Driving
instructions: From highway nr. 2 (Helsinki - Pori) to the church in
Vihti, and forward to the direction of Pusula. Turn left after the
hospital, to the direction of road signs "Pääkslahti"
and "Irjala". Traffic signs guide you from the highway to
Pääkslahti.
A guide
map can also be found in the web, as well as a map of the
site.
NEW: Now also a
picture of the site and its surroundings seen from the air.
